These spring rolls are simply prepared, full of fresh vegetables. It is amazingly flavourful and surprisingly filling. Not to mention that they are definitely low carb.
Personally, I love tofu, but not the rest of my family of course. For some unknown reason, they, however, eat the smoked tofu. It gives a wonderful smoky touch to the meals, so you almost forget that you are eating tofu.
Pancakes are irresistible. I especially like to bake a healthier version with coconut flour and oatmeal. My daughter loves to add a couple of chocolate chips to the batter too.

There is so much more to the Swiss cuisine than fondue. I actually not a fan of fondue ….there, I said it. When I first tried this soup, I immediately fell in love with it. It is very filling and warms you inside and out. The special ingredient is the Bündnerfleisch, an air-dried beef. A must try!!
I rarely buy canned food, but tuna is an exception. I can not resist a fillet of tuna in olive oil. I like it on a piece of bread, in tomato sauce, as a salad or just eat it with a fork at the kitchen counter right out of the tin. If you think canned tuna is some kind of fast food, then you’re wrong. With a few capers and mayonnaise, you can create a heavenly dip that everyone will die for. The baguette is made by the talented Katharina, at Besondersgut.
I always have a glass or two peanut butter in the pantry. I especially like to use it for healthy treats, or just eat it out of the jar.
These peanut butter slices are amazing, and the best it that they are easy on the curves.
January is the month when I prefer to eat more or less meat-free and concentrate on healthy grains and vegetables. Especially after the last week of detox, I don’t feel like eating meat yet.
