Pesto, The Finest Meal In No Time

Pesto is one of the simplest dips/sauces that you can make in no time. Basil Pesto is, of course, the unbeatable classic, but I like to play with variations and try new combinations with different herbs and nuts. Whether spinach, basil or rocket, pesto is always a hit. It’s like my summer garden in a glass, full of fresh flavors.

Either I use the food processor or the spice chopper to make pesto. The spice chopper from Kenwood cuts the ingredients very finely and mixes the flavors better than the normal food processor. This time I’ve made a rocket and spinach pesto and a more classic version with dried tomatoes. Try to find other combinations and variations and use your pesto as filling or spread too. You’ll not regret it. For example, I used the tomato pesto as a pastry filling, and it was delicious.
