Isa’s Chocolate Muffins

Ingredients (makes ca.12):

180g flour

30g cocoa powder, unsweetend

180g sugar

4 eggs

150g butter

2 Tbsp sour cream

½ tsp baking powder

Pinch of baking soda

1 tsp vanilla extract


Chocolate frosting:

250g double cream

3-4 Tbsp cocoa powder, unsweetend

1-2 Tbsp caster sugar

Prep.time: 15 minutes

Cooking time: 18 minutes

You’ll need: Balloon Whisk


  1. Preheat the oven to 175C (fan forced)
  2. Attach the balloon whisk to Cooking Chef, add butter and sugar to the mixing bowl and beat until creamy.
  3. Add eggs, sour cream, vanilla extract to butter mixture and beat until fluffy
  4. Spoon the cocoa powder, flour, baking soda and baking powder in the mixing bowl and mix well
  5. Fill the batter into the muffin molds and bake for approx. 18 minutes.
  6. For the chocolate frosting, mix double cream with cocoa powder and powdered sugar
  7. Serve chilled muffins with chocolate frosting…. and lots of sprinkles
