Incredible, Rich Almond Cake

Ingredients for a 22 cm cake pan:

6 eggs
220 g  ground almonds
60 g  flour
150 g  sugar
100 g butter, melted
¼ tsp baking powder
A few drops of bitter almond flavor
1 handful of almond slices

Preparation: 10 minutes
Cooking time: ca. 30-40 minutes

Method:

1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C
2. Add the ingredients to the mixing bowl and whisk until combined
3. Spoon the batter into a buttered round springform, sprinkle with sliced almond and bake for 30 to 40 minutes.
4. Sprinkle the almond cake with caster sugar and I highly recommend serving it with Amarone cherries!
