Ingredients (makes ca 550ml):
150ml fresh Orange juice (about 2 oranges)
Zest of half an orange
Seed of a vanilla bean
400g fresh Cranberry
Prep. Time: 5 minutes
Cooking: 20 minutes
- Combine water, sugar, orange juice, orange zest, vanilla seeds and cranberries in a small saucepan over very low heat.
- Cook, stirring frequently until the cranberries have completely softened, about 20 minutes.
- Strain mixture through a fine mesh sieve. Don’t press cranberries too much, otherwise you’ll end up having a jam.
- Pour hot liquid into sterilized bottles, cover with thick table cloths and store in dark place for a few days. That will make syrup last longer.
For a Cranberry Rum Winter Cocktail, just mix together a bit of:

- Lemon Soda
