Bread and Spread – Salmon Mousse with Horseradish and Dill
There are some evenings, usually Saturdays, when I do not feel like cooking and I do not feel like sandwich either. Then, in the truest sense of the word, just put a spread on the table, toast some bread and sit back to enjoy the rest of the evening. Smoked salmon is often in my fridge and it does not take much time to make a delicious spread. Horseradish and cream cheese are the perfect accompaniment to smoked fish and the result is a phenomenal reward. Katharina (Besondersgut) the Master of Bread, as I call her, was inspired by this spread and baked some heavenly Spell rolls to go with it. They made a perfect match.
