The Answer Is Minced Meat

There are days when I have absolutely no idea what to cook. I just do not feel it. I’m sure you all know what I’m talking about. That’s when I ask the rest of the family what they would like to eat. I have absolutely no idea why I still do that because I already know the answers in advance. My daughter would say, “make spaghetti with meatballs,” and my husband gives me the standard answer of “minced meat with hörnli aka noodles”. All in all, the answer is always the same; Minced meat.

Although my family only thinks of spaghetti when it comes to minced meat, I can imagine many other tasty dishes, from delicious stuffing to meatloaf and spicy sausages. I’m pretty picky when it comes to meat, especially minced meat. Usually, I prefer to shred it myself. It’s very simple and in 10 minutes you have your own minced meat, which you can either freeze for later use, or you use it for sausages or bacon-wrapped meatloaf, as I did right away.
